Schedule & Game Clock
Games will be played from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. both Friday and Saturday. Tournament schedule will be available no later than Wednesday, November 27, 2018. SCHEDULE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE ON SHORT NOTICE. FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR COACH HAS A WAY OF GETTING IN TOUCH WITH YOU DURING THE TOURNAMENT TO ADVISE OF LAST MINUTE SCHEDULE CHANGES.
Proof of Age: All players must show a birth certificate, state-issued ID, passport or military ID at weigh-in. No exceptions.
Schedule: Games may start up to 30 minutes before scheduled time so players and parents need to be at the park well before each scheduled game. Games will not be delayed to wait for missing players. In addition, players will be required to weigh in prior to their first scheduled game on Friday. Please arrive at the park early to insure ample time for your child to be weighed and birth certificate confirmed.
Game Clock: Please note the tournament rules governing game clocks during the game. Please share this information with all members of your party so they are informed and have an understanding of the rules. This will avoid unnecessary frustrations and issues with the fans, players, coaches, referees and tournament officials.
“Maximum game limit time is 1 hour 20 minutes to allow 10 minutes between games to transfer teams and give officials breaks, no exceptions. Each team must be on the field and ready to kick-off every 90 minutes. Official game time will be noted in the press box and by the officials. There shall be four (4) quarters of ten (10) minutes duration (8U division will play 8 minute quarters). There will be a (5) minute halftime and (2) minutes between quarters which teams shall remain on the sideline. In the 2nd half, should it appear the 1 hour 20 minutes time limit is not going to be met, the clock will only stop for change of possession, penalty, scores or player injury. This will be at the discretion of the referees and Tournament Director. A continuous clock will begin once any team is 24 or more points ahead and will not revert back. No onside kicks will be allowed if a team is winning by 24 or more points. No passing will be allowed if a team is winning by 24 or more points.”
